OVERVIEW

You have built a real business. Growth has created complexity.

Owner, employee, manager, opportunity. The gaps get harder to see and cost more to solve. Your team needs direction. Your systems need to scale. Your strategy needs clarity. And your business needs a plan that can survive beyond good intentions.

For five days in the Namibian wilderness, you will step away from operations and work deeply on the future of your business. Together with your leadership team, or as the leader preparing to guide them, you will build a complete twelve-month execution blueprint across strategy, sales, marketing, people, operations, finance, systems, AI and growth.

You will not leave with another notebook full of ideas. You will leave with priorities, actions, owners, KPIs, deadlines and a clear roadmap.

Apply for the March Cohort

Who this is for:

  • R10m – R500m+ — the core room is businesses generating roughly R10 million to R500 million or more a year.
  • Established teams — generally teams of at least twenty. Select earlier-stage businesses may qualify with real traction, resources and readiness to scale.
  • Ready to execute — driven, commercially experienced, open to strategic challenge, willing to confront assumptions, and serious about measurable execution and practical AI.

This is not for someone who wants theory from a stage, who is unwilling to be challenged, or who is not ready to execute. Applications are reviewed before acceptance to protect the calibre of the room.

Business Mastery Namibia Wilderness Strategy Retreat
The Five Days of Business Mastery

The five days: five intensive days, each building a layer of the blueprint.

  • Day One — Assess and Envision. A business diagnostic, a twelve-month vision, a strategic growth target and an initial priority map.
  • Day Two — Market, Revenue and Growth. Ideal customers, positioning, marketing, sales, pipeline, retention and a growth opportunity matrix.
  • Day Three — People, Leadership and Execution. Leadership structure, accountability, roles, performance scorecards and meeting rhythm, with a wild-dog-inspired team session.
  • Day Four — Systems, Finance and AI. Operations, SOPs, cash, capital, a practical AI implementation roadmap, automation and a founder-dependency reduction plan.
  • Day Five — The Execution Blueprint. Quarterly priorities, owners, KPIs, deadlines, a 90-day execution sprint and public leadership commitments.
The Lessons of the Wild, Nambwa Tented Lodge
THE LESSONS OF THE WILD

At Nambwa, the environment is part of the methodology. Five animals, five lessons, woven through the five days:

  • The Wild Dog — execution and teamwork
  • The Elephant — institutional wisdom
  • The Lion — leadership and positioning
  • The Leopard — systems and focus
  • The Eagle — vision

"However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results."

Winston Churchill

ALL RETREATS INCLUDE
  • Accommodation at Nambwa Tented Lodge. These luxurious suites are nestled high amongst the tree canopies. They emanate a sense of serenity and allow each of us some privacy and comfort for the duration of our time together.
  • Morning or afternoon game drives. Discover the unknown along meandering tracks within the Bwabwata National Park, ideally located within the largest conservation area in Africa. Our guides find the perfect spot to disembark and set up the morning coffee or sundowner refreshments in true legendary African Monarch Journeys style.
  • Morning or afternoon boat cruise. Our guides will steer you past varied landscapes of papyrus islands and reed floodplains and get within a respectful distance of hippos, crocodiles, other mammals, and the varied bird species this area is known for. This informative, yet soulful experience on the Kwando Rivers’ waterways is similar to that of the Okavango Delta.
  • Bush walks. An incredible way to experience the bush in a more personal and energetic way. Our local guides take great delight in sharing their ancestral repertoire of medicinal uses of the flora along the way and their tales of the wild and their upbringing in this area. It is an experience that connects and grounds us to the earth.
  • Sundowner setup at the famous Horseshoe Lagoon, served with fresh, homemade, healthy fruit snacks whilst sitting barefoot in the sand soaking up breathtaking sunsets alongside hippos and herds of elephants.
  • Bush dinner on a private island. There is nothing quite like savouring a meal in the serenity of nature with a symphony of night sounds while breathing in the earth, the trees and the energy of a warming fire.
  • Expressive art experience at The Sijwa Project
  • Bwabwata National Park fees and Sustainability levies
  • Full on-boarding and seamless support from the Retreats in the Wild team from the moment you book to the day of your departure
  • A comprehensive workbook and manifestation diary to document your transformation
  • A meaningful Gratitude Bracelet to anchor your journey, lovingly made from recycled glass at The Sijwa Project, with your personal written intention embedded inside one of the molten glass beads
  • Opening and closing ceremonies, plus a completion certificate
  • Integration into a supportive community of like-minded souls

TINOLLA RODGERS

Hosts the Journey

Owner and Managing Director of African Monarch Journeys and Retreats in the Wild. With more than three decades as a hotelier in some of Africa's finest luxury wilderness lodges across Southern and East Africa, she has built her life around exceptional hospitality and a profound respect for the transformative power of the natural world.

She leads a team of 97 and holds two lodges in the KAZA Transfrontier Conservation Area — Nambwa Tented Lodge and Kazile Island Lodge — both operated as joint-venture partnerships with the Mayuni and Mashi conservancies.

Nambwa is her home ground. When she welcomes executives into Bwabwata, she is not a facilitator borrowing a beautiful setting. She is the woman who built it, who negotiated the partnerships that hold it, and who knows what it cost to get here.
